Welcome to Cobra Martial Arts and Fitness Centres. Cobra is a friendly, family orientated, Freestyle or Mixed Martial Arts school, where the teachings of practical self defence, character development, personal empowerment, self discipline, respect for self and others, and health and fitness have been our priorities for over 30 years!
Cobra Martial Arts and Fitness Centres are located in the suburbs of Cannington and Morley in Perth and Geraldton, Western Australia. Through our dojos (training centres) Cobra has positively impacted and empowered the lives of over 10,000 people and families. As a matter-of-fact, countless children who trained with us decades ago, now bring their own children to be taught our family values, life teachings and self defence curriculum.
Cobra teaches a very popular and unique, hybrid form of martial arts, through age specific classes and private tuition, to children from age 3 years old, up to and including adults. The system is similar in concept to the original freestyle mixed martial arts system Jeet Kune Do, developed by the legendary Bruce Lee and as such, combines the best aspects from the most popular and practical martial arts into one complete system.
The Cobra Martial Arts system comprises of six of the most popular and practical martial arts styles, being Karate, Taekwondo, Muay Thai Boxing (Kickboxing), Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Filipino Eskrima (also known as Kali and Arnis). Besides streetwise practicality, this variety also ensures that the program remains fresh and exciting for all ages.
Our Training Programs
Boxing for Fitness is a fun fitness program suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Whether your fitness level is low or high, you can work at your own pace. The exercises taught are for health and fitness specifically target toning and strengthening of the stomach, bottom, thighs, hips, and arms.
Cobra Martial Arts is suitable for men and women of all ages. It will help you with your health and fitness, muscle tone, strength, coordination, balance, flexibility, mind-set, self-defence capability, self-discipline, self-control, patience, character, self-confidence and ability to set and achieve your goals and dreams.
