Eye Contact and Confident Communication

Today I want to talk about eye contact and confident communication.
When someone is talking to you, look at them.
It shows respect and lets them know you're listening.
When you answer, stand up straight and use a clear, confident voice.
You don't have to be loud, but don't mumble.
Whether you're talking to your parents, teachers, or instructors, speaking clearly shows confidence and good manners.
Remember, confidence isn't about showing off.
Real confidence means being respectful, polite, and believing in yourself.
Your challenge this week is simple: every time an adult speaks to you, look them in the eyes and answer with a clear voice.
The more you practice, the more confident you'll become—just like practicing your martial arts techniques.
