Master's Message children's class discussion topic of the week.
Here are some of the rules of the dojo.
A full list is on the back wall.
Please bow when entering and leaving the school (dojo). This symbolises respect for everyone at Cobra, including parents, other students, staff and instructors. It also reminds students to master their ego (humility) and demonstrates willingness to learn.
Address your instructors as ‘Sir’ or ‘Ma’am’, or by their surname, e.g. Mr. Evans.
If given an instruction or asked a question by an instructor, please answer, ‘Yes Sir’ / ‘Yes ma’am’, so they know that you understand.
Do not appear lethargic, be seen yawning, or chat during class. Always be keen and prompt and move quickly between class activities.
Do not swear, play, misuse facilities, be disrespectful or chew gum in the dojo.
If you wear a shirt under your uniform, it must be Black, without other colours or logos visible.
Students must not wear watches, rings or jewelry during class for safety reasons.
