Boxing for Fitness

Cobra's Boxing for Fitness is a fun, exercise session for people of all ages and fitness levels. Whether your fitness level is low or high, it doesn't matter as you work at your own pace.

The session takes place around a boxing ring surrounded by boxing bags and exercise stations. 

After a short warm-up each participant positions themself at a boxing bag / station. Our instructor then teaches, explains and demonstrates the technique or combination to be used for that round and the 2 minute round begins. 

Our qualified instructors supervise and assist participants throughout the rounds and there is a 30 second break between each round for beginners, whereas longer standing participants are given exercises between rounds such as sit-ups, lunges and step-ups.

The great thing is that you can exercise as hard and fast or as slow and carefully as you choose. It is you who determines the pace and intensity. It is a great workout! When you feel more confident ask your instructor how to incorporate some basic kickboxing into your repertoire!

Boxing for Fitness is primarily a health, fitness and toning program, hence is not ideally suitable for learning self-defence. To develop self defence skills, as well as fitness, consider our popular Martial Arts program.

Payment Options

There are a number of payment options available:

Weekly Direct Debit: $29.95 
10+1 Card (buy 10 lessons and get 1 FREE): $195 
3 Month Up-Front Membership: $389 
Casual 'per class': $20             

Over the past 20 years we have seen that people are far more committed and regular with their training when paying by direct debit. This means they train more often and long term. Of course the end product is fantastic results!

On direct debit you can cancel any time with 30 days notice. As a bonus you also get unlimited sessions (up to 7 per week!) plus anyone who joins this month gets a free weights gym membership (normally $680pa).

So if for example you attended Boxing for Fitness twice a week, it works out to only $15 per session, or if you made it along three times in a week it works out to only $10 per session, which is amazing value and much cheaper than paying casually 'per session'. In the future, if you ever wanted to add martial arts / kickboxing to your membership, it is only $7.50 extra per week!
